Reason for Purchase

Prompted by the relationship the Clarion Gatlinburg enjoys with the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it is critical and considered our privileged obligation, to develop environmental responsibility as a company value. This begins by purchasing and utilizing environmentally friendly products and reducing the Clarion Gatlinburg's environmental footprint.

Results

The results realized from purchasing the equipment are that the Clarion utilizes less harsh chemicals, namely bleach in the laundry process. This promotes product life, while stains are greatly diminished via the ozone process. Because the product is cleaner and softer, the guests realize a greater value, which in turn, prompts our guests to partner with us, partaking in our "in-house" green projects. There are also the benefits of less product waste, the conservation of the natural resource of water, and the added benefit of reduced labor costs.
